Talking about cakes, a question arises, can we make a cake at home? The answer is yes, you can. With this blog, We are sharing a recipe to bake a cake at home.

Ingredients needed:

  1. All Purpose flour
  2. Eggs
  3. Baking Soda
  4. Vanilla Essence
  5. 1 1/2 Powdered Sugar
  6. 1 cup Butter
  7. 1 cup Milk

 

Procedure:

 

Making a sponge cake at home is not an easy task.

 

Begin by whisking butter and sugar together until they become light and fluffy. You can whisk it with a fork or manual whisker. After you are done with it, Add beaten eggs(4) and blend it well. Start beating again until the mixture turns white and creamy.

 

Now, Put 3 cups of all-purpose flour and baking soda into the creamy mixture and mix it well. You can also add some milk at this point depending on the required consistency If the batter doesn't turn out to be smooth. For the flavour and aroma add vanilla essence.

 

Take a baking tin, Put butter paper on its base and corners with butter. You can also use cooking spray instead. Sprinkle some all-purpose floor. Pour the batter into the baking tin. Cook at 180 degrees from 30-35 mins.

 

To check if the cake is cooked or not, put a knife to the cake after baking. If the knife comes out clean your sponge cake is ready. Put the cake out of the oven and let it cool. Once it is cooled enough, turn the cake upside down

 

In the last step cut an even slice from the cake and put some whipped cream, cherries and fruits of your choice. Spread the icing cream evenly on the whole cake.
